My teaching and research interests lie at the intersection of 20th-century and contemporary Latin American literature and culture, environmental humanities, utopian studies, Indigenous studies, posthumanism, new materialisms, and political theory. I hold a PhD and an MA in Comparative Studies in Literature and Culture (emphasis in Spanish and Latin American Studies) from the University of Southern California, an MS in Rhetoric, Theory and Culture from Michigan Technological University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communication from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
