Biography
Dr. Deborah Marinski serves as Dean of Campus and Community Relations at Ohio University Southern Campus in Ironton, Ohio, a role she has held since 2024 after serving as Interim Dean since 2022. She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in American History from the University of Toledo, and joined OHIO Southern in 2008 as an Assistant Professor before earning tenure as an Associate Professor in 2014. Her scholarship centers on the history of mental health institutionalization in nineteenth-century Ohio, and she is the author of William McKinley: A Modern Man along with peer-reviewed articles, book reviews, and conference papers presented across the country.
