Chao-Yang Lee

Chao-Yang Lee is a speech-language scientist. His research examines the production, perception, and acoustics of speech sounds with a focus on tone languages. He is a coauthor of a best-selling phonetics textbook and served as an editor for the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research. His teaching has been recognized by OHIO's University Professor Award. He is the Director of Studies for the Honors Tutorial College Program in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences.
