In it she explored ways a food theme in First-Year Composition (FYC) enhanced or distracted students from achieving the Council of Writing Program Administration’s (CWPA) learning outcomes for writing courses along with programmatic cultural competencies. She currently teaches writing courses at Ohio University, and is an Online Academic Adjunct Educator in English/Writing at Eastern Oregon University.
