Biography
Major Benjamin Mower is a native of Pleasant View, Utah, and was commissioned through the ROTC program at Utah State University in 2010 as an Armor Officer.
His civilian and military education includes: a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplenary (Utah State University, 2010), a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (Columbus State University, 2021), a Master’s Degree in Operational Studies (Command and General Staff College), Armor Officer Basic Course, Maneuver Captain’s Career Course, Command & General Staff College, Air Assault School, Army Reconnaissance Course, Cavalry Leaders Course, Stryker Leaders Course, and Combatives Level 1 and 2.
Major Mower’s assignments include Tank Platoon Leader (Iraq), Tank Company Executive Officer (Afghanistan), C CO, 1-8 CAV, 2/1 Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, TX; Tactics Instructor and Headquarters and Headquarters Troop Commander, C TRP, 2-16 CAV, 199th BDE, MCoE, Fort Benning, GA; Stryker Infantry Company Commander, C CO, 4-9 IN, 1/4 Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO; Instructor at Maneuver Captains Career Course, Fort Benning, GA; Squadron Operations Officer and Executive Officer, 2/11 ACR, Fort Irwin, CA; Regimental Operations Officer, 11 ACR, NTC, Fort Irwin, CA; Observer, Coach, Trainer, Ops Group Bravo, Mission Command Training Program, Fort Leavenworth, KS; and Professor of Military Science, Ohio University, Athens, OH.

MAJ Mower and his wife, Alayna, have three children.
