The degree requires a total of 120 credit hours. Course requirements include:

  • Four foundational courses
  • Two healthcare professions services courses
  • One interprofessional education and practice in healthcare course
  • One leadership and critical thinking course
  • Two communication courses
  • Minimum of two healthcare perspectives courses
  • Minimum of four sociocultural courses
  • Four elective courses that are applicable to your interests and in the healthcare field

There are various options, within each of the above categories, providing flexibility in order to meet each student's individual needs. Courses are offered in a variety of formats; traditional (on campus), online (for the working professional) with some courses offered in a seven week format, or a blend of both formats.
