Khyathi Gadag
Khyathi Gadag, Ph.D., M.H.A.,B.D.S. is an Assistant Professor of Health Services Administration in the Department of Social and Public Health at Ohio University. She earned her Ph.D. in Health Services and Policy from the University of Iowa, where her research focused on the impact of telehealth and related policies on the utilization of mental health services in healthcare settings. Dr. Gadag’s research interests include health policy, mental health and substance use disorders, social determinants of health, telehealth, health equity, and social justice. Her work emphasizes improving access to care and addressing disparities in rural, vulnerable and underserved communities.
In addition to her research, Dr. Gadag teaches and mentors students in the Health Services Administration program. Her teaching centers on health care organization, policy, service delivery, and financing, with the goal of preparing students to critically engage with health system challenges and develop into effective future healthcare leaders and researchers
