Food Nutrition Student Organizations

Nutrition Club is a student organization in the College of Health Sciences and Professions for students entering careers in a nutrition-related field.

Student club members engage in a variety of nutrition related service learning and career building activities including participation in the Live Healthy Kids program, Ohio University culinary services marketing campaigns, Southeastern Ohio Food Bank packing days and National Nutrition Month student and community outreach events. Club members are also afforded leadership opportunities in serving on the Executive Board.

Diabetes Outreach Support and Education for Students (DOSES) is a student organization whose mission is “to make OHIO the most diabetes-friendly campus.” DOSES welcomes all individuals who are interested in learning more about diabetes and who are looking for fun and exciting ways to raise diabetes awareness on campus and in the surrounding community.
