Bio

Victor Scavo is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Analytics and Information Systems at Ohio University’s College of Business. A graduate of Ohio University’s Master of Accountancy & Business Analytics program, he brings over 30 years of professional experience in consulting, accounting, and enterprise systems strategy across multiple industries.

Professor Scavo teaches Systems Analysis and Design and co-leads the Management Information Systems (MIS) Program Capstone Course, guiding and mentoring senior students in applied consulting projects with industry partners. His instruction draws upon extensive industry experience and emphasizes the strategic role of information systems in organizational performance, enterprise transformation, and digital leadership.

He is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Innovative Learning Design and Technology at Ohio University’s Patton College of Education.

Research Interests

His scholarly interests focus on emerging technologies in business education, digital learning design, technology-enhanced motivation and engagement, and the intersection of enterprise systems and higher education.
