Biography
Tammy Reynolds joined Ohio University in August 2012 after 25 years working in Fortune 500 companies. She began her career at Marathon Oil Company, and most recently worked for Whirlpool Corporation at the company’s world headquarters in Benton Harbor, Michigan where she led the human resources organization for the North American Operations organization. In this large-scale human resource leadership role, Tammy had accountability for human capital strategy, talent pipeline development, HR operational infrastructure and business continuity for all Whirlpool Corporation North America based manufacturing, supply chain and logistic locations. She has specialized expertise in organizational acquisition, change integration and synergy capture.
Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science from West Liberty State University and a Master's Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from West Virginia University. Tammy teaches integrated business cluster courses, human resources and organizational behavior for the MBA program, special leadership seminars in the Brazilian executive program and other external executive education seminars. She is the founder and advisor for OHIO Women in Business, the founder of the Emerging Leadership Development Program. Tammy resides in Athens, Ohio with her husband Tim who is also a faculty member at Ohio University.
