The Central Food Facilities Building is located in the North West Corner, coordinates C-2 on the campus map. It is marked as #135 on the map.
The Central Food Facilities houses the bakery, central food warehouse, dining hall maintenance, test kitchen, vegetable preparation, conference room, and administrative offices.
History
Built in 1972, the bakery made their bread with a bread maker machine (no longer in use today) as well as the cakes, pies, donuts, and cookies that are made today. It also had a meat shop that is no longer in operation. The vegetable preparation shop cleans, chops, and dices all of the vegetables for the dining halls. The test kitchen prepares new recipes for use in the dining halls.

The Union Green
Union green is the western gateway to the University and the city of Athens.
