Current Use

Facilities Shops 3 houses the Electrical Shop as well as Low Voltage Maintenance and Life Safety shops. The building also includes gender-inclusive/single-use restrooms inside.

History

The Laundry, built in 1972, was originally used as a Laundry Building where all of the linen for the dormitories was done. In later years it became known as the Custodial Supply building. It is now known as Facilities Shops 3.

Union green is the western gateway to the University and the city of Athens. The green is home to Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Facilities Management & Safety, Russ College of Engineering research, and Culinary Services.
