OHIO Counselor Visit - NACAC Conference 2025

Join Ohio University for a 1/2 day visit including a campus tour, current student panel, academic meet & greets and more. Transportation will be provided to and from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio at the NACAC Conference site in Columbus, Ohio. Information sessions will occur on the bus rides to and from Ohio University, so you're encouraged to ride with us to get the most out of your visit. If you prefer to drive yourself to Athens or are passing through on your way to Columbus, please request a parking permit on the registration form.

Departure
8:00 a.m. | Columbus, Ohio
Specific pick-up location will be provided to registrants in September. Information sessions and Q&A will be provided on the bus ride from Columbus to Athens. 

Arrival in Athens, Ohio
9:30 a.m.
 Upon arrival in Athens, we will take a brief riding tour of the city of Athens and the Ohio University campus. Featured locations will include the historic College Green, residential greens, and newly renovated academic buildings.

Snacks and Welcome
9:45 a.m. | Baker University Center
Light snacks in Baker University Center, OHIO's student center with a welcome from Undergraduate Admissions.

Academic Sessions
10:10 a.m. | Locations vary
Choose two 30-minute sessions to attend. Sessions include tour of classroom, hands-on learning and laboratory spaces and brief overview of college majors and experiential learning opportunities.

Lunch & Departure
12:15 p.m.
Boxed lunches will be provided prior to departure. A current student panel is planned for the bus ride from Athens to Columbus.
