Health Resources Library
The AHEC Health Resources Library is located on the ground floor of Grosvenor West in room 007 on Ohio University's Athens campus. The library offers a comprehensive array of health models and displays for the informational and educational needs of Ohio University, the Heritage College, health care providers, AmeriCorps members, community health workers and community members. The library is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The health-related topics included in the Resource Library are:
- Breast health
- Testicular health
- Prostate health
- Diabetes
- Cardiovascular/Heart disease
- Oral health
- Nutrition
- Germs and hand washing
- Tobacco cessation
- Injury prevention
The AHEC staff are dedicated to providing current information and offering presentation materials to all health care professionals.
