“Creole Africaine: Celebrating the Many Cultures of Africa”
2nd Annual Concert of African Dance and Music

Location: Kantner Hall, Elizabeth Baker Theatre
This concert, arranged, choreographed and composed by Zelma Badu-Younge (OU’s School of Music), will feature traditional and contemporary dancing, drumming and singing from West Africa, North Africa, Brazil “Capoeira”, and the Caribbean. Authentic traditional instruments as well as traditional & contemporary costumes will be used. This event is presented by the School of Dance in collaboration with African Studies, African-American Studies and International Studies. $10 general admission, $8 students.
