Freshman Advising Appointments

Orientation/Advising and Registration is designed to acquaint new freshmen students with the campus. Students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with admissions, registration, and financial aid policies and procedures, and meet academic advisors to learn how to plan their schedules.

Your OHIO ID and password are required to register for an advising appointment. If you have not already activated your OHIO ID, you can do so here. You will need your PID number (sent in your application acknowledgment letter/email) and birthdate. If you need assistance, contact the Office of Student Services at 740.588.1439.

Transfer and College Credit Plus Advising

Transfer and College Credit Plus students will receive advising information via e-mail. If you need assistance, contact the Office of Student Services at 740.588.1439 or ouzservices@ohio.edu.

Bobcat Blitz!

After attending an advising appointment, you will register to attend Bobcat Blitz.  During Bobcat Blitz you will pick up your student ID card, get a campus tour, hear from faculty, staff, and students about college success strategies, find your class locations, finalize financial aid or billing, and ask any remaining questions you may have.
