Honors & Scholars Opportunities at Ohio University

The OHIO Honors Program: Serving students in all majors as well as those who are undecided, the OHIO Honors Program blends challenging coursework with opportunities for students to apply their education outside the classroom. Students in the program gain interdisciplinary perspective and select one of three pathways to structure their experiences: community engagement, leadership, and research/creative activity. COB Honors: COB Honors offers students in the College of Business opportunities to collaborate with other high-achieving students and engage with faculty and business leaders. By working in teams, COB Honors students emulate an industry approach to solving real business problems. Curricular and co-curricular experiences recognized by the COB Honors program also count toward OHIO Honors requirements and lead to transcript designation. For more information, click here.

Connavino Honors Program. Teacher education students in the Connavino Honors Program complete rigorous, inquiry-based courses and participate in a collaborative research project that addresses contemporary issues in education. For more information, click here.

Honors Tutorial College: The Honors Tutorial College offers 38 degree programs that offer high-achieving students the opportunity to customize their education and develop deep disciplinary knowledge. Cutler Scholars Program: The Cutler Scholars Program is Ohio University’s premier merit scholarship for ethically and intellectually engaged students. Office for Multicultural Student Access and Retention Programs: Students in the Templeton, Rankin, Urban and Appalachian Scholars Programs receive generous scholarship support and dedicated academic advising from OMSAR staff.
