Conflict of Interest (COI)

All Ohio University faculty and employees must complete a conflict of interest form before receiving grants from an external funding source. The form, which must be completed annually, helps the university ensure that all research activities are in compliance with federal, state and university policies.

Note that some federal grant programs, in particular the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Department of Energy (DOE), may require completion of conflict of interest disclosures prior to SUBMISSION of grants. Conflict of Interest training is required for these external funding opportunities and is available through the CITI training site.
