Update on search for OHIO’s next executive vice president and provost

Ohio University is moving forward in the search for its next executive vice president and provost.

The national search began in August with the goal of naming the next executive vice president and provost before the beginning of the spring semester.

The search committee is being led by co-chairs:

• Matthew Ando, College of Arts and Sciences, Dean
• Robin Oliver, University Communications and Marketing, Vice President

Additional members of the search committee include:

• Deanna Clifford, Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service, Senior Program Manager
• Todd Eisworth, College of Arts and Sciences, Professor
• Matthew Fox, College of Health Sciences and Professions, Associate Professor
• Kari Lehman, OHIO Online, Vice Provost
• Dwan Robinson, Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education, Professor
• Ava Wood, Ohio University Board of Trustees, Student Trustee

John McCarthy was named as the interim executive vice president and provost in May after Don Leo announced he would step down to assume the role of president of the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
