SUPPORT BOBCATS

Be a Better Bystander
As the weather gets nicer this spring and you take part in safe socializing, remember to practice being a Better Bystander to your peers and friends. Know the Four D's model of bystander intervention: Direct- Get involved! Delegate- Find someone to help! Distract- Disrupt the situation! Delay- Respond with empathy, share appropriate resources, and hold space with someone who is disclosing an act of violence. If you're interested in taking your efforts even further, consider becoming a Peer Health Educator.
