Below is the schedule for the 2024 Music Industry Summit. All day programming will take place in person in the Baker Center Ballroom, unless otherwise noted. Evening events will be held in various locations. Registration for the day programming is free and open to anyone. Evening events require either a separate RSVP or ticket purchase.

Monday, April 8

8:00 p.m. • An Evening with Bully (solo) and Craig Finn at Stuart's Opera House

Kick off the OHIO Music Industry Summit with performances by two indie rock veterans at the historic Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio. Tickets start at $25 and up. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Stuart's Opera House's arts education programs.

Mary Jo Braun, VP of Music Clearance at Paramount in conversation with Rachael LaCava. The session will focus on the process of music placement for feature films and television shows, as well as how music is sourced for licensing.

Mike Joseph of The Orchard, Miriam O'Shea of YouTube Music, and Dre Slater of Digilogue discuss how artists can build their fan communities and develop strategies for music discovery in the modern attention economy.

Jason Isbell will perform a special closing night concert to wrap up the 2024 Music Industry Summit. Opening performance by Peter One. 


9:00p.m.-12:30 a.m. • Official After Party, Presented by Midnight Music

The Union Bar Athens

Midnight Music will host the Official Summit After Party at The Union Bar. Featuring performances by local artists: Loljack, Vonoski, Weongo, Cano & J Tolb, and Auburn Hill. Doors open at 9PM. $8 cover at the door; open to anyone 18 and up!
