The BMT program is intended to prepare students for supervising or entry-level management positions in a number of industry sectors. Students have opportunities to develop analysis skills, problem solving, team building, and business presentations. Industry sectors that can benefit from supervisors who understand and practice these skills include manufacturing, retail, finance and banking, service, distribution, small business, health care, and not-for-profit. Students are also prepared to continue their academic studies in several baccalaureate programs, such as the Business Studies Major (B.S.B.).
