Information about the Conference
The Immigrant and Migrant Health Conference is for health care professionals that work with immigrant, migrant, and refugee populations. Ohio University’s Global Health Initiative (a partnership between the College of Health Sciences and Professions and the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine) along with the Center for International Studies is sponsoring this event. Health topics ranging from legal and economic issues, cultural barriers, healthcare challenges, and community resources will be discussed. See the Agenda for full list of topics and programs. Continuing Education Credits
Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine has requested that the AOA Council on Continuing Medical Education approve this program for 10 credits of AOA Category 2-A CME credit.
CHEAO (OH-049, 10/1/2017) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Criteria for successful completion: You must attend the entire day to receive Credit and submit a completed evaluation form.
