FY19 Budget update


System downtime planned to enable Financial System Enhancements (FSE) conversion


Ohio University will convert to a new Chart of Accounts beginning Thursday, November 30 at 5:00 PM through Tuesday, December 12 at 12:00 PM. The Chart of Accounts conversion will affect individuals across all Ohio University campuses and many systems will be unavailable for processes because of this conversion. An announcement will be sent when systems are available to campus users.

New IT Accessibility Policy evaluates accessibility standards of technology purchased by the University


A new policy at Ohio University is one of several recent steps in making OHIO’s online presence more accessible, ensuring an equal opportunity for all students to access technology and online tools related to their educational experience. In addition, the policy will enable the University to establish an information technology infrastructure that makes its online programs and services accessible to employees and community members.

Financial System Enhancements: Training schedule and readiness


The Financial System Enhancements (FSE) project represents a combination of initiatives that will be available in November 2017 and includes the Chart of Accounts Redesign (COA), a new Financial Approvers tool and the new Oracle Grants Accounting Module, and supported by enhanced reporting capabilities within Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI).

SciQuest 17.2 upgraded in BobcatBUY


The SciQuest 17.2 upgrade was implemented Monday, July 31. This upgrade will have minimal impact on the overall user experience. Users will observe slight visual changes with no changes to functionality.

Altour reports changes for international travelers


Effective immediately the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will require additional screening measures for customers flying on international flights bound for the U.S. These screening measures pertain to any departure point where a passport is required to reenter the U.S. Customers flying to the U.S. from an international airport are encouraged to arrive to the airport at least three hours prior to departure to allow time to clear security.
