The interdisciplinary nature of the global studies–Africa major is designed to
provide you with a broad understanding of Africa applicable for a wide variety
of professions. Majors are required to study one or two African languages and
study abroad or intern in Africa. Students must consult with their advisor and
the Education Abroad Office before committing to an internship or study abroad
program.
Our students are well equipped for careers with non-governmental and governmental organizations, multinational corporations, and think tanks, as well as to pursue graduate degrees in related fields.
Students are required to study abroad.
