Convenient and Fun
During two seven-week summer sessions, Ohio University offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate courses on the Athens campus, the five regional campuses, and online.

Summer Sessions Offer
A chance to save money. Register for up to 20 hours during Summer and potentially graduate earlier.
Smaller classes.
Enjoy smaller class sizes, encouraging close interaction and a more relaxed atmosphere that promotes both learning and enjoyment.
A variety of convenient formats.
Choose from a variety of online, evening, weekend, and one-, two-, or three-week specialized-topic courses in all subject areas.
An extra term of classes.
Register for classes that are typically hard to get into. This is your chance to retake a class, take a class just for fun, start a second minor, or study abroad.
Plenty of affordable campus housing.
Comfortable rooms are available—comfortable prices, too. Summer students will live in Shively and Tiffin Halls. Housing applications available April 1.
A friendly, diverse, and active student community.
Become one of more than 7,000 students attending Summer Sessions in Athens, offering you plenty of opportunities to find study companions and make new friends.
