Planning Events and Programs Publicity & Promotion: Flyers
Organizations should post flyers and posters only in designated areas on campus. Organizations posting flyers in inappropriate places (on brick walls, trash containers, trees, etc.) may be charged the cost of removing the flyers and are subject to referral to the Office of Judiciaries. All flyers and posters must clearly state the name of the registered student organization.
Some appropriate places to post flyers/posters on campus include:
- Brochure rack on Baker University Center first floor (Baker University Center Information Desk must approve).
- Two bulletin boards in Baker University Center Ground Floor (Baker University Center Information Desk must approve).
- Bulletin board in Lindley Cultural Center (Lindley Cultural Center Information Desk must approve).
- Residence halls - All posters and flyers for residence halls must be submitted to the appropriate Green Office for approval, as residence life staff members distribute materials in the halls. Individual students are not permitted to hang posters or flyers in the halls.
- Two public boards in Ping Recreation Center (Business Office in 142 Ping must approve).
