The Division of Student Affairs and Housing & Residence Life are proud to invite Ohio University community members and friends to help welcome the next generation of Bobcats to the Athens campus this coming August as part of our Bobcat Move-In Crew.

What is Bobcat Move In Crew?

The Bobcat Move In Crew is made up of returning OHIO students. This team will help our new incoming students physically move their personal items into their residence hall rooms. 

The time commitment is 12 hours. The 12 hours accounts for two shifts over first-year student move in (Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 23), as well as a mandatory team meeting on Tuesday, August 20 at 3:30 p.m. in Morton 201.

All volunteers receive a t-shirt, documentation of volunteer service, and are permitted to return to their residence hall (if living on-campus) on Saturday, August 17 at no cost. 

How to Apply

The Bobcat Move In Crew application is found on your Housing Self-Service page and will be available beginning June 1 at 9 a.m. Applications are due by August 1.
