Student Support Services Information
Student support services are available on the Athens Campus, Regional Campuses, and through OHIO Online.
Allen Student Advising Center
General advising for all students. The Allen Student Advising Center works with any Athens campus undergraduate student and can support students with most academic questions and concerns. Our skilled, professional advisors can help students explore their strengths and interests and construct academic plans that help them meet their goals. They can support students who want to improve their academic performance, raise their GPA, work on degree planning, explore major changes, or enroll in courses. They also specialize in supporting students from specific populations such as first-generation college students or commuter students.
Academic Achievement Center
The Academic Acheivement Center (AAC) offers academic assistance for Ohio University undergraduate students. Through individual and group study sessions, our staff helps students achieve academic success. AAC programs include peer tutoring in over 200 subjects, online learning navigation, supplemental instruction, and writing assistance.
Student Accessibility Services
Student Accessibility Services offers counseling and support services for students with physical or learning disabilities provided for students individually to ensure equal opportunity and access at OHIO.
If you have reached out to your academic advisor and need additional assistance, your college office or regional higher education student services office can assist you.
