What are Challenge Cards?

Challenge Cards are a career exploration tool that helps you discover meaningful career paths by focusing on real-world problems instead of job titles. Instead of asking “What job do I want?” you’ll explore big challenges—like protecting the environment, advancing healthcare, or designing smarter technology—and then connect those challenges to careers that match your interests and values.

With Challenge Cards, you can:

  • Explore real-world challenges across a variety of fields
  • Reflect on which challenges inspire you most and why
  • Learn how different careers and industries tackle these challenges
  • Connect your strengths, values, and interests to meaningful work
  • Gain a new perspective on what a fulfilling career could look like

How to Access Challenge Cards

  1. Sign up for an account (choose “Student” as the account type)
  1. Use your OHIO email address
  1. Choose your own password (it doesn’t need to match your OHIO email password)
  1. Enter ohio.edu for the code (case sensitive)
