Andrew Hunt, M.A.

Specializations: Inoculation Theory, Propaganda, Media Effects of Movie/Television Programming, Animation, Storytelling, Political Communication, and Pedagogy

Andrew Hunt earned his A.A. in Psychology from Sinclair Community College and his B.A. and M.A. in Communication from The University of Dayton. His research interests include how to apply Inoculation Theory to propaganda, media effects of movie and television programming (with a strong interest in animation), creation and effects of storytelling, political communication, and pedagogical application in a collegiate setting. Additionally, as a first generation student, he has a strong interest in the study of what teaching and learning techniques work best for students whose parents don’t have a collegiate degree. Personal interests include movies, TV, music, travel, video games, CrossFit, kayaking, and nerd culture.
