Are you interested in hosting a Green Event at Ohio University? Green Events are planned to simultaneously benefit people, planet and prosperity. Follow the full guide or the check list provided by the Office of Sustainability to help host your event. Once your event is registered, you will receive an email with useful links to help you on your way to hosting a Green Event! Please contact sustainability@ohio.edu for more information.
Waste Management
For any waste that is produced, proper waste separation is essential for diverting waste from the landfill and turning it into a resource. Campus Recycling is available to help implement your event's waste management goals.
Request recycling and compost bins for your event through a Work Request. The work order system can only be accessed from campus or through the OHIO VPN. For additional assistance, please contact facilities management at 740-593-2911.
Below is Campus Recycling's pricing structure for Registered Student Groups and University Departments or Off Campus Organizations.
