Nursing faculty, students invited to attend 2026 Jeri Milstead Policy Symposium in Dublin on Oct. 24

The Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions School of Nursing is partnering with the American Nurses Association of Ohio (ANA-Ohio) to host the 2026 Jeri Milstead Policy Symposium on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Dublin Integrated Education Center. 

The 2026 ANA-Ohio Jeri Milstead Policy Symposium, “Bending the Arc: Disrupting Public Health Disparities,” brings together nurses, leaders, policymakers and healthcare experts to examine how systemic inequities shape health outcomes, and how nurses can lead meaningful change. 

Centered on four critical areas—school health nursing, mental and behavioral health nursing, immigrant health nursing and public health nursing. This symposium will take a deep dive into how disparities are created, reinforced and ultimately disrupted through policy and practice.
