Shipping

There are multiple options for shipping in the Athens area and on campus. Please note: This webpage may not contain all available shipping options, but it serves as a guide to many popular options.  

United States Postal Service (USPS)

USPS is the official postal service of the United States. There is a USPS office on the 4th floor of Baker Center, as pictured. Please visit the USPS website to find additional locations, hours of operation and more information about service offerings.

There is another USPS office located at 5 W. Stimson St. that may have differing hours and services from the Baker Center location.

eShipGlobal

eShipGlobal is a company that allows students to arrange shipments from ISSS. They contract with various delivery companies (such as FedEx and UPS). You may now initiate eShipGlobal requests through your iCats account.

How to Request Documents Be Mailed to You Via eShipGlobal

  1. Create Your Request: Log into iCats. Under "International Office" you will find the "eShipGlobal Shipping Request" e-form. Fill out the form and click the "Submit" button.
  2. Create an Account: You will be routed to the eShipGlobal site. (If you have never used this service before, you will be asked to create an account.) From the welcome screen, click on “Receive documents from your University."
  3. Shipment Creation:
    1. Under the Receiver’s Address section, please enter the address where the document is to be mailed.
    2. Type your PID number in the "Student ID" box.
    3. Under shipment information, select the type of document to be mailed (I-20, EAD card, etc.). Click "Continue."
  4. Carrier Selection, Cost and Transit Time: Select the service you want and click in the circle. Then, click "Continue."
  5. Payment Confirmation: Enter in your payment method and information. Click "confirm payment." Then, review the confirmation of payment/receipt screen.

United Parcel Service (UPS)

Yes! UPS is different from USPS. USPS is a public, government-operated service, whereas UPS is a private, multinational shipping company. 

There are several options in Athens for shipping with UPS, including drop boxes outside the top of Baker Center, various Access Points and a Customer Center.

FedEx

FedEx is another private shipping company similar to UPS. It is a multinational conglomerate that provides global shipping. 

FedEx has an office in Athens at 743 E State St. G. Please visit the FedEx website for more information on hours and services.
