Scholarships and Funding

Scholarships

First-year Honors Tutorial College students admitted for fall semester earn the OHIO Premier Scholarship, valued at full in-state tuition and renewable for four years. Out-of-state HTC students may also earn the OHIO Trustee Award, valued at up to $7000 annually. Both of these awards are part of the OHIO Signature Awards Program, and limitations and restrictions may apply. More information about awards for fall 2021 will be available soon on the scholarship section of the Undergraduate Admissions website

Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and friends, HTC awards a variety of endowed scholarships, as well. All HTC applicants are automatically considered for these scholarships.

Ohio University offers two scholarship programs that include room and board: the Cutler Scholars and Templeton Scholars programs. To be considered for either program, students should make sure not to opt out of honors and scholars consideration when completing the Common Application. Undergraduate Admissions will provide eligible students who apply with the Honors and Scholars Application Supplement. More information about applying, including how to be considered if you submitted your Common App without all OHIO Honors and Scholars information, can be found on the Undergraduate Admissions website.
