Guaranteed Admissions Program


To be eligible for selection into the guaranteed admissions program applicants must meet the following requirements: 

  • GRE verbal and quantitative scores in the 50 percentile or greater 
  • 3.5 cumulative GPA and 3.5 prerequisite GPA 

The Division Physical Therapy allocates a limited number of slots for guaranteed admission from the following academic programs each year. 

  • School of Applied Health Sciences and Wellness 
  • Department of Biology 
  • Department of Psychology 

The Division of Physical Therapy determines final admittance into the program. 

Eligible candidates will be subject to the standard application process. This includes completion of a PTCAS application to Ohio University Division of Physical Therapy by October 1 and complete the interview process. 

Selection Criteria for the Guaranteed Admissions Program 

Student selection for guaranteed admissions is at the discretion of only the aforementioned academic programs.  

Interested students should contact a pre-physical therapy advisor in the aforementioned academic programs for more information.  

The Division of Physical Therapy does not participate in PTCAS Early Decision
