Facilities Planning Building


Location and Current Use

The Facilities Planning Building is located at The Ridges, at coordinates D-7 on the campus map. It is marked as #219 on the map.

The Facilities Planning Building houses the offices of Ohio University Facilities Planning and the Ohio Department of Youth Services. The Ohio University department of Campus Safety also uses part of the building.


History of the Building

This building was originally known as Building 19 of The Ridges, and was formerly the Geriatrics building of the Athens Mental Hospital. It was used as a residence hall for elderly patients.
