Current Use

The Life Sciences Building is located on the old bed of the Hocking River, immediately West of Richland Avenue, and to the north of the West Green, coordinates F-3 on the campus map. It is marked as #149 on the map. The bridge in the foreground of the photo, above, leads toward Stocker Center.

The Life Sciences Building is now in use by the departments of Biological Sciences and Biomedical Sciences. The building houses faculty and graduate student offices, as well as research labs.

History

Construction of the Life Science Research Facility began in 2001. Construction of an addition to the East end of the building began in 2006.
