Robert Glidden Hall

Location and Current Use

Robert Glidden Hall (formerly the Music Building) is located in the North Green, at coordinates I-3 on the campus map. It is marked as # 40 on the map.

Robert Glidden Hall houses the Athens Community Music School, Music Dance Library, and the School of Music.

History of Building

Built in 1969, the building contains classrooms, practice rooms, faculty and administrative offices, music library and a recital hall. Formerly the Music Building, it was renamed in June, 2004, to honor retiring President Robert Glidden.
