How to Use CARES Act Funds: A Virtual Q&A Forum with the Ohio Office of Budget and Management

Director of the Ohio Office of Budget and Management (OBM), Kimberly Murnieks, joined local elected officials, Mayor Donald Mason and Mayor Charlie Hudson on Aug. 17, 2020 to discuss the permissible uses to maximize Coronavirus Relief Funds. This session provided an update from Director Murnieks on the fund’s requirements and eligible uses, with highlights on how the Mayors of Zanesville and Wellston have applied the funds in creative ways, and answered questions about allowable expenses. This is the first session in the Virtual State of the Region Series.
