Voinovich School professor elected to board of economic development association

Dr. Jason Jolley, associate professor of economic development and director of the Master of Public Administration program at the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, was recently elected to the University Economic Development Association board of directors.

The UEDA is a membership organization that joins public and private higher education, public and private sector agencies and community economic development stakeholders. UEDA’s members work to expand economic opportunity by leveraging education and talent development, research and technology development and community-building and place-making strategies.

The UEDA is also a national partner of the Innovation and Economic Prosperity University program, which is overseen by the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities and acknowledges universities working with public and private sector partners in their states and regions to support economic development. Ohio University was named an Innovation and Economic Prosperity University in 2015.
