The media are invited to attend a press conference with award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien, Thurs., Feb. 20 at 3 p.m.
Sponsored by the Scripps College of Communication, the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and the School of Communication Studies, O’Brien will be on the Athens campus to host “Soledad O’Brien Presents Black in America” in Baker University Center at 5 p.m.
O’Brien is hosting town-hall conversations throughout February – Black History Month – to share her own professional and life experiences with the audience and host a panel discussion. This will be the only stop in Ohio.
