Overnight Accommodations

Staying on campus during Orientation

 

Long drive to Athens? Come the night before your BSO starts!

Stay on campus the night before your Orientation visit for only $28 per person, per night. No reservations required, simply check-in to Washington Hall (building #49 on the campus map), on East Green after 5 p.m. Fees are charged to the student account and are not paid at check-in.

 

Staying on campus during your Orientation visit

When you check-in for Orientation, please let us know if you would like to stay in a residence hall on campus. If you select this option, you will check-in to Washington Hall between 5–10 p.m. to receive your room assignment. Guest fees charged to the student account and are not paid at check-in. Students, have the option to stay with their parent and family members or be roomed with another student. There is no charge for the student’s overnight accommodations. Students are not required to stay on campus during orientation.

 

Parent and Families Accommodations

When you check-in for Orientation, please let us know if your parent or family members would like to stay on campus as well. Parents and families have the option to stay with their student or in another room. There is a fee of $28 per person per night to stay on campus. No advance reservations are required. Rooms are double occupancy and guests will have access to community style bathrooms.

 

About Orientation Housing

Rooms are double occupancy with twin beds, and each floor has a women’s shared bathroom and a men’s shared bathroom. Students and families who wish to share rooms may do so. The residence halls are air-conditioned and basic towels and bed linens are provided.
