Career in 10 (C10): Summer/Fall Professional Experiences

C10 is an opportunity for students from untapped populations to connect with diversity-centered employers to learn about the company's diversity initiatives to help build an inclusive work environment and employment opportunities. This event features representatives from the U.S. Department of State, the Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) program, the U.S. Foreign Service Internship Program and Fellowships, and the Enterprise Manager in Training Program.

C10 is an opportunity for students from untapped populations to connect with diversity-centered employers to learn about the company's diversity initiatives to help build an inclusive work environment and employment opportunities. This event features Nationwide. Learn about Nationwide's expansive internship program, DEI initiatives, and company. This video contains a lot of great information.

Interstate 1804 Out-of-State Alumni Panel

The Out-of-State Alumni Panel will allow current students to connect with Bobcats that have relocated outside of the state of Ohio for employment or unique opportunities. Alumni will share their experience with leaving their home state. We hope the Route 1804 panel provides advice, encouragement, and insight into the overall experience. Panelists are Makenzie Bowker (Senior Social Media Manager at WebMD in Atlanta, GA), Marquis Maines (Content Editor with the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX), and Kerry Tuttle (Senior Account Supervisor at Edelman in Greater Chicago, IL).

Interstate 1804 Out-of-State Alumni Panel

The Out of State Alumni Panel allowed current students to connect with Bobcats that have relocated outside of the state of Ohio for employment or unique opportunities. Alumni shared their experience with leaving their home state and starting their new chapter.

How to Crush a Virtual Career Fair

Learn strategies for "crushing" a virtual career fair from Ohio University alumna and Insight Global employee Bridget Dickerson. This event was hosted by Career Service's Tamika Williams in October 2020. All fall 2020 Career Services fairs will be hosted virtually on Handshake.

What's business casual? What do I wear for an interview? If you're unsure what to wear for professional events, the different attires, or proper clothes for events, this workshop is perfect for you! This workshop was created by the Career Closet. Resilience: Facing Challenges and Hardship with Grace (Alumni Panel)

Learn more about strategies for job searching during a global pandemic and an uncertain job market and economy. The Bobcat Network is one of the most significant resources for current students and alumni for career connections, information, and mentorship. This panel features three of Ohio University's proud alumni about how they have remained resilient.
