FJordan Furner joined the Office of the Dean of Students at Ohio University in April 2026 as the Executive Assistant to the Dean of Students. In this role, Jordan supports the daily operations of the office by assisting staff, supporting students, coordinating communication and scheduling, and helping create a welcoming and student-centered environment. Jordan is passionate about supporting both the team and the students served through the office and values being part of a collaborative campus community focused on student success and well-being.

Jordan earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from West Virginia Junior College and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Leadership from Franklin University. Prior to joining Ohio University, Jordan worked in healthcare as a Diagnostic Testing Receptionist in Athens, where she supported patients and coordinated scheduling and communication within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Outside of work, Jordan enjoys spending time with her two children, being outdoors, and reading.
