Get OHIOReady to build your business continuity plan: training workshop set for Nov. 10
Ohio University has completed the upgrade of its Business Continuity Planning (BCP) platform.
The enhanced system provides planning units with improved tools to document business continuity plans, maintain critical operational information and support the University's ability to continue essential operations during disruptions.
To help planning units get started, a virtual training workshop led by a representative from Kuali, our technology partner for BCP, is upcoming. If you attended the prior workshop, you are not required to attend but can still register as a refresher.
Upcoming training opportunity
Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m.
Participants will learn how to navigate the platform to create and maintain business continuity plans.
The training session will be recorded and be available for later viewing. While recordings provide a convenient reference, attending the live session is encouraged to allow questions and discussion related to your unit’s specific continuity planning needs. Feel free to forward this registration notice to those you believe would benefit from this training opportunity.
Resources and support
A new resource, the digital walkthrough, “OHIO Business Continuity Planning: A Practical Approach,” is available to help you and your team think through the business continuity planning process before developing a new plan or updating an existing one.
Rather than serving as formal training, it highlights key questions and considerations to guide your discussions and planning. Additional guidance, reference materials and planning resources are available on the Business Continuity Planning website.
Questions about business continuity planning may be directed to Mike Trout, campus compliance and Clery Act coordinator, at bcp@ohio.edu.
