Faculty service award nominations open

Ohio University seeks nominations recognizing the outstanding service of the University’s faculty.

Each of the two University awards celebrates excellence in service as acknowledged by peers, students and/or community members and recognizes a faculty member’s efforts and impact on the University, local, national, and/or global level through community engagement. 

The Presidential Service Award is awarded annually to a full-time tenured faculty member from any of OHIO’s campuses. All OHIO faculty, staff, students, alumni or local community members may submit a nomination. Winners will hold the title of Presidential Service Award Winner for three years.

The Provost Award for Excellence in Service is presented annually to a non-tenure-track faculty member (instructional or clinical) from any of OHIO’s campuses. All OHIO faculty, staff, students, alumni or local community members may submit a nomination.

Winners will hold the title of Presidential Service Award Winner for three years.

All nominations are due by Oct. 15. Faculty may be nominated any number of times, but multiple nominations do not increase their chances of winning.
