Online security tips to help you stay safe

Most college students around the country spend a lot of time online.

Whether students are doing homework, scrolling through social media or checking emails, online dangers lurk everywhere.

The same is true for all members of the Ohio University community who spend a lot of time online. With bad actors constantly searching for new ways to gain access to personal and financial information, security is everyone's responsibility. Keeping your personal information safe is crucial.

In order to help you stay safe, the Ohio University Information Security Office has put together a series of helpful tips for staying safe online. The tips include information on protecting your Ohio University information as well as protecting other personal information.
