OHIO faculty, staff invited to participate in Finding Joy in Online Teaching event on Feb. 20

Ohio University faculty and staff are invited to take part in a series of upcoming Online @ OHIO Innovators Huddle events.

Held monthly, these informal discussions will feature different topics each month. OHIO faculty and staff will be invited to share ideas and best practices while they learn from one another. These 30-minute discussions are designed to allow conversations and ideas to flow.

The first Online @ OHIO Innovators Huddle will be held virtually on Friday, Feb. 20, beginning at 10 a.m. and will focus on Finding Joy in Online Teaching. This informal coffee chat discussion will be led by Dr. Kristina Bross, dean of the Honors Tutorial College, and Dr. Bruce Hoffman, associate professor of sociology.

All OHIO faculty and staff are invited to join the Feb. 20 event,  as well as monthly events that will be held throughout the year. Future events will include:

  • Friday, March 20 at 10 a.m. – What is your Online Approach to Assessment.
  • Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. – Creating a Sense of Community in your Online Program/Course.
