Fall Commencement set for Saturday, Dec. 16

Approximately 1,100 students are expected to participate in Ohio University’s Fall 2023 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 16.

The commencement ceremony, which is for undergraduate and graduate students, will begin at 2 p.m. in the Convocation Center on Ohio University’s Athens campus. The ceremony is expected to last for approximately two hours.

Associate Professor Josh Antonuccio, director of OHIO’s School of Media Arts and Studies, will deliver the commencement address. An expert in the music industry, entrepreneurship, technology, music production and experiential learning, Antonuccio is also the director of the Ohio University Music Industry Summit.

Doors will open for the ceremony at 12:30 p.m. No tickets are required for admission. For those who are unable to attend in person, a livestream of the ceremony will be available on the Ohio University Commencement website.

Visitors to campus may utilize parking within any dark green or purple lot on campus from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16. In addition, free event shuttles will be operating from 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16.
